BUSY children
Camille (and now Katie) want to learn how to sew so I decided to start her out with cross stitching. We went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought several little kits. I showed her how to start, thread the needle, read the pattern, count the stitches, etc. I helped her with a couple of rows and then she just took off. She completed the project all by herself and even created the hat without a pattern. We're so impressed. She is about to begin her second kit as I write this.
As the fall rolls around and school is back in session, the kids are busy, busy. Clayton is playing football for the Jr. High and is doing great! Last week they played a Jamboree game and then their first game. Clayton is also starting back to baseball soon. Since he is 13 he is also getting into serious "hanging out" and recently had a boy/girl swim party.
Katie is continuuing with dance this year, but is adding in cheerleading camp, gymnastics and guitar lessons. The only thing that has started so far is the dance.
Camille is also continuuing dance this year, but is adding in piano lessons and soccer. Piano lessons start this week and soccer starts next month.
CJ is just busy being CJ and trust me, that is enough!!
