What camping trip is complete without smores? There was a fire ban so we roasted the marshmellows on the stove.

On Thursday I took the girls back into town so I could have an adult night. I had a fabulous time with the girls and a fabulous time without them.

Train ride home

Clayton joined us for the train ride home. The train left Jackson at 5:45 and CJ usually goes to sleep between 6:15 and 7:00, but he didn't go to sleep until we were driving home from Memphis at 10:30!!

Mid South Corn Maze

Camille, CJ and I went to Memphis today to do the Mid South Corn Maze. Mary Jones and her family met us there so Camille and Mary could see each other.

It took us about 30 minutes to make it through the corn maze. Then we went to the Jumping Pillow. I think the kids had more fun on it than in the maze.

CJ did not like the Jumping Pillow, but LOVED the sand.

Then Camile shot the Corn Cannon. She said that was her favorite part.

While I was away...

While CJ and I were in Little Rock the family kept up its busy pace. JJ and Pops came for a visit and they sent me these pictures. Saturday started with Camille's soccer game. Camille is not the most coordinated child and hasn't played soccer in 2 years. The last time she played she mostly played with the grass around her so she shocked us this year with how good she has become. She is also the only girl on her team.

Clark helps coach.

I'm told she was hit in the chest with the ball, but handled it quite well (thanks to her awesome Clark).

After Camille's soccer game, they loaded up and drove to Dyersburg to catch Clayton's second baseball game. He's playing on a different travel team this fall.

Once they made it back home, the girls took JJ and Pops to the park to feed the ducks and just hang out.
