Pops and JJ gave us this sports net. It can be used for golf, baseball, soccer, football, etc. How perfect for our family and backyard!

Some after Christmas time trying out the new gifts. Katie is trying new stunts on her old bike, Clark is trying out Pops' new club (that is supposed to do that since it is a training club) and Clayton got a new watch.

Christmas night we go to my Aunt Jennie and Uncle Curtis' house to celebrate with my mom's family.

A reality check

I was walking by the baby's room today and realized after a few minutes that I was just standing there thinking about the reality of a new baby and daydreaming about what he will be like. I decided to take a few pictures of what the nursery looks like right now. It is in the very beginning stages, but it is coming together bit by bit.

We now know that we can get a much larger tree next year.

We got this as a Christmas present last year. It is a chime that is powered by the heat of the candles - brings back childhood memories for me. They were blowing out the candles.

We put out the Christmas books and were pleasantly surprised to walk in and find all three of hte kids engrossed in a book.


Pops and JJ bought us a Mickey ornament when were were at Disney in October so they were all hanging it.


It was Katie's year to put the angel on top.


Clark did a great job with the outside of the house.
