Homecoming

Clayton's Homecoming was last night and he escorted Dannon. He was so handsome.

Friend Day

We had Friend Day at church today and had a great time. Dad and Alice came up, but I didn't get any pictures of them. It was a sports theme this year. Clark also gave a short testimony during the service - and did a great job!

CJ loves his "puffs" and is getting pretty good and getting them in his mouth.

Little man on the move

CJ is definitely getting better at crawling and exploring. The laundry basket and his book basket are great sources of entertainment.

And this is a video of him pulling up to a full stand. He can just stand there for a little while, but he couldn't quite keep his balance on this one. I'm afraid he may be an early walker.

Viist to Jackson

The girls, CJ and I went to Jackson this weekend because my Uncle Neil and cousin Elle were in town from San Francisco. We arrived Friday night around 8:30 and hung out with JJ and Pops. Saturday morning we visited BeBe (Clark's Grandmother), had Clark's family over for lunch, went to Dad's peanut boil, and then to my Aunt Jennie's. Sunday we headed over to my Aunt Jennie's again and then came home. Busy weekend, but fun.

Now that CJ is mobile he is loving it. He crawled/scooted to his high chair that was on the floor to chew on the strap (he has about 4 teeth coming in).



Katie made her way from the bedroom to the den by scooting on the bear. They must love JJ and Pops' floors!!

Dad's peanut boil

Dad has a peanut boil each fall. Buddy and Leahbeth live next door so it has become a joint event.



Notice that Duncan is playing with the chalk while Harper and Whit run around!

Sadie and CJ had a great time playing together at the peanut boil. Even though their colors look like they are Ole Miss and MSU rivals, CJ is a State fan!

7 months old

I'll have to admit, 7 months snuck up on me. I don't know how, but it did. And just like I say every month, I can't believe he is 7 months old today. He is sitting up really well, getting up on all 4's, army crawling some and scooting. He is a VERY good eater and gets sooo excited when it's time to eat that he starts shaking!

Here he is on our table. I had him just sitting there, but he wanted to flip over and explore.


This is not the best picture of him, but he kept turning around to check out the bear and he has bug bites on his face/head. His skin is really sensitive so bites look really bad on him. Click here to see the 6 month pictures.
