Zoo trip with the Chancellors

Mary and I are college friends and she lives in Memphis. Somehow, we haven't gotten together with the kids in the two years I've lived in Brownsville. We finally did today at the zoo. I think Camille still thinks we're at camp with her doo rag. Hannah and Buck are younger, but they had a great time.

CJ was much more alert for this zoo trip than he was for the last one.

Camille was too busy taking pictures with her own camera to turn around.

CJ's first cereal

Clark is a happy Daddy because I finally gave in to feeding CJ some cereal. He loved it!

Camp Bratton-Green 2009

I've been going to Camp Bratton Green (CBG) for the last 26 years and now I'm able to take my kids with me which is really cool. We did Grae and Chuck's 5th/6th grade session this year. Camille has been 4 summers, Katie has been 2 and CJ has been 2, but he doesn't remember last summer since I was only about 10 weeks pregnant then. He sure did enjoy taking it all in.

While we were at camp CJ got his first tooth and started rolling over from his back to his stomach.

Getting painted to be penquins for Safari.

Chelsea and CJ were big buddies. She could really make him laugh.

Dressed up for a skit.

We had fun tie dying.

Sweet sisters were protecting his ears during loud lunch songs.

Sweet little Ryals Harris liked hanging out with CJ.

Both girls loved learning to fingerweave.

This doesn't happen very often so I figured I should take a picture of it.

Katie is really good at aerial 4 square. She is waiting in line for the tournament.

Night activity one night was stations where people talked about their hard lives in Gothom City. The girls were homeless children.

Clark came and spent the last night with us. We were all glad to see him.
