Delta Fair and Music Fest

We went to the Delta Fair and Music Fest in Cordova today. We had fun, but it was HOT!

Camille is on the far right in the pink.

OK, so even though Clark captured his lovely, pregnant wife stuffing her face with pizza and a cup of ice cream, the ice cream was NOT mine. I was holding it for one of the girls.

Clayton on the Crazy Mouse. The picture is fuzzy if you enlarge it because it was with Clark's phone, but click on it anyway and look at Clayton's mouth. It is so funny - it was like that the whole ride.

Clayton and Camille went on a scary house ride and Camille didn't like it too much as you can tell by her face!

Clark rode the ferris wheel with the kids.

From the ferris wheel.

Katie liked the games better than the rides and won this panda.

Clark is smiling now because this is before the ride started. He was not quite as happy when they got off as he thought he was going to throw up for sure.

Guess who can tie her shoes?

Camille learned how to tie her shoes today. She is so excited and actually picked it up very quickly. Now, we just have to be patient and let her take the time she needs to tie them.

Meeman-Shelby State Park

Last February we went to Meeman-Shelby State Park for Clark's 35th birthday see pictures here). We decided to go back and invited extended family to come. Clark's parents (Pops and JJ) and my dad and step-mom (Grandpaw and Ali) were able to come. We had a blast.

The whole crew.

We weren't there 2 hours before Clark and Clayton were able to break out the bathroom window with a baseball. We can't wait to get that bill. It actually came in handy a few minutes later when we locked ourselves out and we had to pass Camille through it to unlock the door.

WOW! Doesn't that look comfortable?

Isn't it fun to let the kids do things they aren't allowed to do at home on our furniture??

This game of toss between Clayton and Pops did NOT result in another broken window.

Isn't that sweet?

Some UNO games were pretty intense this weekend!

Despite all our bread throwing efforts, nothing would bite for us.

Yes, that is some baby belly poking out.

Clark has been wanting a "charging station" for all our phones and Grandpaw built one for us. Thanks Grandpaw!!

There is a disc golf course there and we played some holes. We introduced Pops and JJ to the sport.
