Camille's first art show

Camille has been at an art camp this week at my high school (Jackson Prep). They had a show today to finish out the camp. I was blown away by her work. We had a conversation about the talent God has given her and I hope she continues to pursue it.

Mom, Oma and I went together and then JJ, Katie and her cousin, Rebecca met us to help celebrate.

The picture to the left is on canvas and the pieces hanging on the line are actually pieces hanging on the line. It's hard to tell from these pictures but her design and creativity on the swimsuits is amazing (to me). In her lap is a clay piece "kooky clam."

Lost Teeth

Katie and Camille both lost teeth this week. Katie has been at her mom's so I didn't get a picture of her.

Camille is holding up this pillow because my mom made the pillowcase for me when I was little and now she is using it. Isn't that cool?

VBS

Our VBS ended last Friday. Here is Camille (on the front row in the pink shirt) with the rest of the preschoolers.


Here is the rest of the kids. Clayton is on the back row (in a navy shirt under the screen) and Katie is on the second row (in a green shirt next to Brandon, ohhhh in the white shirt). They refused to hold hands even though they have big crushes on each other.

Watermelon plants!!

Last week Heather and I were at Home Depot and I saw watermelon plants and decided to get some. I intend on having a garden next summer. Here they are the day I planted them.


Here they are almost a week later. They are growing!

Happy Anniversary to me!

Monday is our 1 year anniversary and I got my present today!! Isn't it gorgeous? I had seen it in a jewelry store a while back and metioned to Clark that I saw a pretty ring. He was shocked and excited because I'm not really a jewelry person and now he could get me something. I'm so proud of it and so blessed to have Clark as my wonderful husband!!

Clark and Katie's trip to LA!

Clark wanted to take Kaite on a trip - just the two of them. So they went to LA this past weekend since Katie is in awe of Hollywood.

THE Red Carpet

Katie was so excited about having a convertible for the weekend. She even chose the color.


Katie's favorite restuarant is KFC (which we call Katie's Favorite Chicken) and so they ate at this one on the corner of Suset Blvd and Pacific Coast Hwy.

The water was FREEZING!

More All Stars!

We had Clayton's baseball closing ceremonies this morning and he made the All Star Team too! We're so proud of him. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures because the camera is in LA with Clark and Katie.

Stockings, mosaics and missing Clark

All Stars!!

We had Katie's softball closing ceremonies tonight and she made the All Stars team! We are so proud of her!! We will find out on Saturday about Clayton.

A day with the Diamond Jax

Clayton's team went to a Diamond Jax (AA team in Jackson, TN) game on Sunday and were able to take the field with the players. They also participated in most of the between innings games.




Probably the most exciting part was when Clayton was the Jr. PA Announcer. He was in the pressbox and announced the batters over the PA system. He did a terrific job and sounded so professional. He really enjoyed it too.

Music Camp

After the baseball game we went to the final program for Music Camp at church. They have a week of camp based on the music that will be used at VBS. Clayton went this year.


His team won 1st place for the points for th week. They had competitions all week from a food drive to beach ball volleyball to spirit day.
