Elvis is alive!!

Clark and his company (La Paloma) put on a Professional's Weekend twice a year. We had one this weekend and once again I was so impressed by Clark's hard work in organizing the event, his interactions with everyone from all over the U.S., and his speeches. I'm so proud to be his wife.

Kenny and Jamie (Pops and JJ) went to Brownsville on Friday to keep the kids, took them to the Memphis zoo on Saturday and then joined Clark and me at the Peabody for the dinner and band. Elvis (a Circuit Court Judge that Clark has become friends with) and his band were the entertainment. We had a great time.

Happy anniversary (Sunday) to Pops and JJ!

The Peabody Ducks

After breakfast this morning we went up to the roof to see the ducks. We woke them up!!

The kids are acting like ducks.

Katie wanted to take a picture.

Waiting for the ducks.

They walked so quickly from the elevator to the fountain that my poor, slow batteries didn't have time to get a good picture. Oh well! The blurry blobs are the ducks.

Japanese Steakhouse

We took the kids to a Japanese Steakhouse in Jackson (TN) tonight. Camille had never been to one so Clayton and Katie had been telling her all about it this week. The chef must have sensed it was her first time because he messed with her the whole time (salt in her hair, tossing an onion at her, etc.) All 3 kids tried new foods and that was amazing in itself. We had a great time.

Katie didn't want to take a picture with the chef.

One of the local banks participates in the Relay for Life. One way that they raise funds is to "flock" people's yards. You call and pay $10 to have the yard flocked and then they have to pay $10 to have it deflocked. We flocked some friends an dso went to take pictures.

Spring Break

Spring Break started with Aunt Feather coming for a visit and bringing the annual Mardi Gras loot. The kids love it (and we get so excited about all the stuff all over the house - THANKS Aunt Feather!!) Seriously, it is a lot of fun.

Clayton then went to D.C., Katie went to JJ and Pops and Camille and I went to Jackson for the tail end of break. Katie and Camille went to Libby Lou with JJ and Pops for a make over but I couldn't get the pictures to transfer. They were adorable as a DJ (Katie) and princess (Camille).

Clayton and his mack daddy beads.

Camille and Katie got powder puff and put baby powder on them which meant it went everywhere. At least they had just gotten out of the tub.

The girls have claimed the old dog pen as their clubhouse. They brought out sleeping bags, pillows, music, and food. They were living the high life.

The kids were THRILLED to take this Easter morning family picture in the freezing weather.

I love my sister (AKA Aunt Feather)

JJ and Pops gave Camille a Build a Bear gift card for her birthday so we went and she created Suzie ("with a Z" as Camille says.)

Clayton and two of his classmates spent their spring break in Washington, D.C. at the People to People Leadership school. It was quite an honor for him to go.
