Mount Everest - I so wish I could have done it.

JJ, Pops, Clayton and Katie decided to ride the River Rapids. Look at how brave Pops is with his hands in the air!!

Oops - got a little wet.

Awwww, Clark won this for me, but we decided to give it to CJ when he is born.

Girls' Weekend in Memphis

A couple of weekends ago I met up with some college friends in Memphis. They have done this for a while, but I never could make the trip from North Carolina. I was so excited to join them this year. We had a lot of fun. Mary couldn't join us for dinner so she's not in the picture, but it was great to hang out with her too. This was at Iris - a great restaurant in Memphis. Go eat there if you can.

Disney World and our camera

We went to Disney World this past week and had soooooooooo much fun. On the way there our first flight was delayed so when we landed in Atlanta we rushed off the plane to try to catch our connecting flight. Well, in all that I left our camera bag on the plane with the digital and video cameras in it. We didn't know until we were in Orlando. I was so upset. Luckily JJ and Pops had their camera so we'll be getting pictures from them. AirTran tracked us down and returned the camera bag. Unfortunately it only had the video camera still in it so I'm without a camera for a while. I feel kinda naked.

Round up at Church

Grandpa came in town this weekend to help with the move. It was great to have him here - thanks Grandpa!! Sunday we had a Round-up day at church. There was so much for the kids (including Clark) to do. We had a great time.

Clayton flipping.

This was one of the funniest things I've watched in a while.

Let me go jump, Daddy!

Videos from Round Up at church

These don't have any sound and Camille's is sideways, but I still thought they were fun.

CJ is healthy!

We are calling the baby CJ for Kenneth Clark Converse, Jr. We had an appointment with a specialist today for a higher level ultrasound because on the first ultrasound they saw some cysts on CJ's brain. Everything looks great and the cysts are gone. They also checked his heart since Camille was born with a hole in her heart and so far it looks great too. Thanks to everyone who have been praying. Please continue your prayers for a healthy baby and preganacy! Here are some new pictures of the little guy.

He was having a foot cramp so his toes are all curled up.

Santa Monica

I met Clark in Santa Monica this weekend where his company was hosting a conference. It was really nice, but VERY foggy. Every day was a little more clear and, of course, yesterday morning when I was leaving it was GORGEOUS.

This is the view from our hotel room. The windows opened and we could feel the ocean breeze.

Thanks JJ and Pops!

Clayton, Katie and Camille chose outfits in a catalog and JJ and Pops were sweet enough to get an outfit for each of them. I'll have to post a picture later of Katie since she is not here tonight.

It's a BOY!!

Clark and I went in today for a routine appointment but two different nurses couldn't find the baby's heartbeat so the doctor decided to do an ultrasound to make sure he was OK. Needless to say, Clark and I were very nervous and upset, but were relieved as soon as we saw the heartbeat on the ultrasound. He was just being a good hider. We saw him move around, cross his feet, and take a drink.

This picture is as if he is sitting on the "camera" so you are seeing his two legs, his bottom, and his boy parts!!

Here he is cuddled up on the placenta like it is a pillow.

The ultrasound says I'm a little over a week further along than we thought I was so I am now 17 weeks and the new due date is 2/18/09 which is Clayton's birthday. He is overjoyed to finally have a little brother and for him to be due on his birthday.

This was a big scare for us and we ask for your healthy baby prayers as often as you can send them!!

Delta Fair and Music Fest

We went to the Delta Fair and Music Fest in Cordova today. We had fun, but it was HOT!

Camille is on the far right in the pink.

OK, so even though Clark captured his lovely, pregnant wife stuffing her face with pizza and a cup of ice cream, the ice cream was NOT mine. I was holding it for one of the girls.

Clayton on the Crazy Mouse. The picture is fuzzy if you enlarge it because it was with Clark's phone, but click on it anyway and look at Clayton's mouth. It is so funny - it was like that the whole ride.

Clayton and Camille in a scary fun house.
